Back in the twenties, Danrho´s founder was one of the German pioneers who begun getting the masses enthusiastic about the Japanese martial arts of Judo and started later on trading with various judo items under the name of Danrho. It is especially out of this field, that the Danrho trade mark has gain its decades of experience and know how and achieved to be one of the main actors impossible to be without. Lots and famous sportsmen place their trust in the Danrho quality and play an important role to enhance the long tradition of Danrho trademark with modern and specialized knowledge. 

1952 the founder of Danrho creates a highly innovative tatami, the RHODE TATAMI, made in own production according rigorous quality criteria and following the IJF requirements.
Rhode Tatami is now the synonym for more than five decades of extensive security and reliability in the martial arts.
